Volunteers

We seek volunteers, including knowledgeable managers and caregivers for the special needs population in these capacities:

• We have started outreach to churches in the US, offering our programming and support, starting with the database of churches provided by the Hartford Institute. We are researching churches' children's and special needs programming one by one as part of our outreach, but also to support the Hartford Institute in updating their database. These updated and new resources will support other organizations as well. Volunteers needed.
• Professionals or those open to training from Karen on supporting family liaisons, volunteers, and families in churches nationwide, as virtual coaches on scheduled Zoom calls.
• Tech-savvy and IT support to help us establish our Resources page to include housing, daycare, education, and programming in and out of churches. We hope to build this into a sortable and searchable tool by need, age group, disability and geography. Yes, a big ask, but all is one step at a time! Contact us if interested.
